Executive Director
Summary: The Executive Director is a full time employee, who is responsible for planning and directing the operations of the Conservation Department, and assists the Conservation Board in providing effective management of county parks, properties, and conservation programs across Hancock County. Performs duties as defined by section 350 of the Code of Iowa. Coordinates, plans, and administers conservation and recreation programs in the county under the directive of the Conservation Board. Performs related work as required.
QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in a natural resource field and three years of full-time employment in the natural resource field or have an associate’s degree in the natural resources field with five years of experience in the natural resource field.
SALARY: $65,000 - $80,000 plus county benefits
